Team Racing Spirit Dominates the Finale at Killarney!
What a way to end the season! Over the weekend, Team Racing Spirit ran riot at the final race day of 2024, delivering a stellar performance at a packed-out Killarney Raceway. The team set the tone early with a pole position in Class E of the BMW Car Club and a stunning 1-2 qualifying finish in Sports & GT Class B.
Connor Kilbride was in unbeatable form, taking two commanding race wins in his BMW E36 in the BMW Car Club category. Both races were a showcase of his skill and determination, with Connor pulling off some bold overtakes to secure the victories. The excitement didn’t stop there, as Connor carried his momentum into the Sports & GT category. Driving his turbocharged BMW E46, he delivered a masterclass in dominance, storming to two emphatic race wins with a significant margin over his competitors.
Tristan de Nobrega made his Class B debut in the naturally aspirated BMW E46, facing a tough challenge against a pair of feisty Porsche Cup cars. Despite a notable 25kph speed deficit on the straights, Tristan put up a fantastic fight, showcasing impressive race craft to secure 3rd overall in Class B for the day. It was a thrilling battle and a great way to wrap up the season for the team.
The atmosphere at Killarney was electric, with the grandstands packed and our new partner, Group A, well-represented throughout the event. It was an incredible opportunity to showcase our partnership and the capabilities of our cars.
